The Jungle View Studio is Gaia’s entry-level room with upgrades available to the Studio room. As you might expect, both studios are more compact at 350 square feet. Studio special touches include a personal concierge service, top of the line king size bed with 500 thread count linens, an LCD flat-screen, stereo equipment, one sofa bed, natural wood, and stone floors. These amenities are standard for all Gaia rooms.

Gaia Suites

Gaia’s Suites are also available in a variety of levels including the entry-level Jungle View Suite, the Suite, and the Deluxe Suite. The Suite and Deluxe Suite both have a stone shower. Additionally, The Jungle View Suite, Suite, and Deluxe Suite are each 700 square feet.

Amenities

Guests will enjoy the walking trails within the lodges’ 23-hectare private nature reserve. The Cloud Forest Lodge comprises 25 suites, a main house and restaurant, an outdoor fire pit and bar, and elevated platforms for observing wildlife. The reserve is home to Costa Rica’s original zipline and canopy tour, a unique opportunity to explore the cloud forest from a bird’s eye view.

Endemica Restaurant has a fresh and lively menu sourced from local vegetables, fruits, and conscientiously harvested seafood, meats, and dairy. Each dish perfectly pairs with the selection of exclusive fine wines that the lodge offers.

Rooms

The Cloud Forest Lodge has 25 suites in total. There are three different accommodation levels accessible at the lodge: Manakin Suites, Euphonia Deluxe Suites, and Tityra Junior Suites. All rooms are non-smoking. The suites do not have a TV or a mini-bar but do have high-speed WiFi, a laptop-size safe, gourmet Costa Rican coffee, nightly turndown service, luxury linens, and soft bathrobes.

Manakin Suites

From your cozy private terrace, enjoy the melodic song of tropical birds like the Manakin bird for which the suites are named. Natural hardwood and artisanal details define the inner space. Choose between a King or two Queen beds with plush pillows, pillowtop mattresses, and fine linens. A spacious, bright bathroom is stocked with naturally sourced amenities, twin vanities, comfortable bathrobes, and a solar-heated rain shower.

Euphonia Deluxe Suites

Named for the Euphonia bird that can be heard from within the private 23-acre reserve, the Euphonia Deluxe Suite has either one King or two Queen beds able to accommodate four guests. Plush pillows, pillowtop mattresses, and the finest linens make the bedding particularly comfortable. The bathroom features spacious and bright twin vanities, bathrobes, natural amenities, and a solar-heated rain shower. Tityra Junior Suites

Named for the Masked Tityra birds that inhabit the forest’s highest branches, the Tityra Junior Suites feature one King-size bed with luxury pillows and linens and an integrated parlor with a reading nook/daybed, comfortable sitting areas, and a desk. An oversize bathroom and dressing area include luxury amenities including a glass-enclosed solar-heated rain shower, bathrobes and slippers, twin vanities, and organic amenities.
